Residential (Heating & Cooling)

What qualifies a HVAC company or contractor to be a specialist? They all claim to be, but what does that mean, try asking them.

We are CERTIFIED HVAC Specialists, most are NOT.

Besides implementing a proactive & science focused approach. Our Expertise in the HVAC concepts of old complimented by the newer highly technical training aids us in achieving lasting results. This level of expertise allows us to diagnose persistent, intermittent, & problems not so easily identified.

We aren’t just saying we are experts at residential & commercial HVAC, Comfort Solution Technologies is routinely called in when other HVAC contractors are unable to diagnose the problem or recommend a solution.

Certified

Comfort Solution Technologies isn’t certified just for the sake of being ‘Certified!’ We are Certified because this advanced level of industry technical training assists us in providing answers & solutions for lingering & unresolved issues. The unique ability to see an HVAC system in its entirety sets us apart. We are able to see an HVAC system mechanically as a Senior-Master Level Technician, able to understand the design characteristics of a system, & able to quantify the invisible ‘Fluid movement of Air in a system’ as an Air Balancer. This highly specialized training allows us to lower the Carbon Footprint (CO2 Emissions) of HVAC Equipment. Armed with licensed 3rd-Party software enables us to test HVAC Systems Unbiasedly. It’s the reason we can proudly say “Comfort Solution Technologies industry expertise allows us to design, install, retro-fit, & maintain the most Comfortable, Safe, Efficient, & Healthy HVAC systems in the industry.”

Certifications:
Air Balancing #18-182-04
HVAC System Performance #18-181-04
Carbon Monoxide Safety & Combustion Analysis #19-262-01
Duct System Optimization Specialist #22–073-07

Our Proactive Maintenance not only helps HVAC equipment to run safely & reliably, but also more efficiently.

The proof is in the testing, documentation, & reporting. While most companies just say you can save money by doing maintenance, we can actually validate it. We offer customized plans that are performance & safety focused.

Every HVAC system we install whether it’s a complete system Upgrade or a partial upgrade includes what we call a Test-in/Test-out report.

This report not only holds us accountable to our clients, but also validates the craftsmanship performed. Our goal is to have your HVAC equipment to far exceed the industry norm of 12-15 years, our goal is 20-25 years “without nickel & diming you.”

System Design

Incorporates the Owner’s 20 + years of personal industry expertise that spans from some of the most extensive industry training & Certifications found under one roof. We utilize not only our mechanical background, but our knowledge of the dynamics of Airflow, ventilation, combustion & make-up air to design, install, retro-fit, & maintain the most comfortable, safe, efficient & healthy HVAC systems in the industry.

Proper Ventilation is Important

While the home’s envelope has improved drastically to improve overall energy efficiency the trade-off is less air change which can impact the home’s occupants with excessive build-up of voc’s (Gases), dust, pollen, animal dander (particulates), bacteria, viruses, pathogens, & Allergens (Germs/Bioaerosols).

This can also cause build-up of excess humidity, Carbon dioxide, & even Carbon Monoxide. The goal is to properly control the ventilation process & not to over ventilate.

AIR QUALITY

We customize a solution to the client’s particular home or place of business.

The foundation of air quality starts with 3 key areas Ventilation, Filtration, & Humidity control. We tailor a system to achieve our client’s desired goal by blending proven techniques with cutting edge active air treatment technologies. Focusing on technologies that produce no ozone, no unsafe free radicals, products that are better for the environment, & have a lower cost of ownership.

HVAC ENERGY AUDIT

When conducting an energy audit to analyze the HVAC System “real world” conditions.

We use our industry leading training in conjunction with our NIST certified instrumentation to precisely gauge the total capacity output of heating & cooling equipment. The testing can validate the integrity of ductwork design as it relates to over-all system performance. Testing is beneficial for newer or older systems as well.

Myth: The yellow energy guide sticker on your furnace may say 95% efficiency. However, most systems we test are not performing at their indicated rating. Our goal is to assist our clients to attain the optimum rating.

We point out key problem indicators

AIR BALANCING

Measuring & understanding the fluid movement of air in any forced air system heating or cooling is the pillar of HVAC Design.

This medium that allows the transfer of heat into a space (heating), allows the removal of heat out of a space (cooling), aids even in humidity control, & even plays a role in air quality. Each piece of heating & cooling equipment has designed Airflow characteristics & operating targets from the manufacturer.

We can actually measure the output Airflow (CFM) of the HVAC equipment & measure what’s actually being delivered into the living space. We can then redistribute & balance airflow from rooms that may be getting too much airflow to others that may be lacking enough airflow.

Example: We can address that room above the garage or that spare room that just never seems to be comfortable.

HVAC Controls make a difference in the bottom line.

From single-family homes, to condos, to commercial properties & store fronts. Comfort Solution Technologies is more than capable of installing, upgrading, or modernizing your HVAC controls. Whether it’s to improve comfort, reduce operating cost, improve air quality or even the simple convenience of having the connectivity to be able to control & monitor comfort remotely from anywhere.

We offer “Smart Home” controls to not only integrate with the HVAC, but with lighting, appliances, door locks, garage openers, window sensors, motion & occupancy sensors (the list goes on). So if you’re looking for a better option to manage your current home, rental property, vacation home, or place of business Comfort Solution Technologies is definitely the right place.
